Here is yesterday's picture. My scrapbook area really is a wreck. I am planning a major reorganization in the next few weeks. Looking at the picture, we can all say it's way past due. The mess is worse when I am working on a project. So today's picture is my current project. I am making a small December album with my favorite shots of the holiday season. It's very simple and focuses on the pictures. It is inspired by Kollette's Attribute album.
This has been a good weekend. Church was fabulous today. I have done some cleaning and lots of crafting. One of my Christmas presents was a Pixie machine. This is Singer's answer to the person who only wants to sew on their scrapbook pages. Keep in my mind I have ZERO sewing experience. It took me awhile to figure out the threading and bobbin procedure. After much practice I still can not sew a straight line. Note to self - Call Kristi ASAP.

Awesome space! You know that if it was clean that you would never find anything. At least, that is MY story anyways. I clean and then everything disappears. I am wanting one of those little sewing machines in the WORST way!!!
ReplyDeleteI was going to email you, but realized I didn't have your email! Thad is home until June supposedly. That is when they are slotted to go to the great sandbox. It is the army and that could change tomorrow. lol
I've just been working on some Valentine stuff. I NEED to finish my December daily album, but haven't gotten back to it. Shame on me!

ReplyDeleteHi Liz, I am enjoying reading your blog. Here is a tip I use when teaching someone to sew. I have them unthread the machine and use a piece of notebook paper as you would material. Sew along the lines on the paper. The needle holes will show you how you are doing. I hope this helps. - Aunt Pat
