Today I subbed for the librarian. I sub for the local schools as one of my part time jobs. It was a great way to spend the day. Who wouldn't love being surrounded by wonderful children's stories with beautiful illustrations? I read a variety of great books to several different grades. It really is a fun way to make extra money As always, I walked away thinking teachers are saints with incredible patience.
Three Cups of Tea update- I am up to chapter 6. I have to say it is really moving slow. I would have given up on any other book. I had high expectations for this. The point of view really bothers me. Greg Mortenson wrote this with an editor so everything is referred to Mortenson did this or that. It really distracts from his story. He life is fascinating.
